Odysseus in the Eclipse?

The New York Times has published an article by John Noble Wilford (June 24, 2008) about a scientific study that could date Odysseus's homecoming to a real historical event, possibly coinciding with the solar eclipse that has been estimated to have occurred on April 16, 1178 B.C.
